Spacing:

  • Space can be used to both separate and connect elements in a design.
  • Wider spaces separate elements from each other and narrower spaces connect elements to reveal relationships between them.
  • By controlling and shaping space in our designs, create direction and motion.
  • Space creates a grouping of elements and improves the readability, legibility of content in our website.                     
  • Spaces are two types, they are.
Micro-Space: This is space within elements in a group. It's the space between letters, words and paragraphs. Micro space makes text more legible.

Macro-space: This is space between major elements. It separate elements or group of elements and provide avenues for the eye to follow and places to rest between elements. This makes text more inviting.
